The only way to cook meats

If you enjoy eating meat (chicken, pork, steak, etc.) this device is for you. It cooks meats PERFECTLY. No more guess work. You set the temperature to the exact doneness you want and voila your meat comes out perfect. Every. Single. Time. No more worries about accidentally overcooking your meat by leaving it on the stove for an extra minute or two. The only downside with cooking sous vide is that it does take a lot longer. Fortunately, you don't have to babysit your food. To borrow the phrase from another device, you can just set it and forget it. I use this thing a few times a week and have had it for over a year.

Cult Classic with a sequel on the way

The gang's all coming back. Some ten years later, anyways. That's when you know a movie is worth watching-- when it can demand a sequel so many years later. Decided to give this film a shot after learning the scribes were the same guys who penned the first and second Deadpool movies. Fans of those movies will definitely enjoy this one. Also, not to spoil it for anyone, but this movie has one of the funniest cameos I have ever seen. Worth watching just for that scene.

Underrated, but worth watching

This movie was one of many Hollywood adaptions of novelist Elmore Leonard's books. He was one of Quentin Tarantino's influences. John Travolta, stars in this movie during the career renaissance he enjoyed after starring in Pulp Fiction. He plays loan shark Chilli Palmer and does a fantastic job of giving a voice to Leonard's words. Fun fact: Tony Soprano, the actor who would later play him anyways, also starred in this film. Though starred is used loosely, as he wasn't a very prominent actor until he landed the role of Tony Soprano.

Too many villains

This movie is a textbook example of trying to do way too much. There were way too many villains (three!). This movie also tried to lay the groundwork for a Spider-Man universe. It failed spectacularly. On the plus side, its failure allowed for the character to be rebooted into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So I guess that was one of the positives...

Aaron Sorkin wrote a fantastic script and David Fincher delivered a fantastic film. To say the film took a lot of artistic license would be generous, but it was based on the true story of the founding of facebook. The movie made Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield stars.

One of DC's worst movies

Serving as a sequel to the polarizing Man of Steel, this movie landed with a thud. It should have been thrilling to see Batman and Superman on the big screen together for the first time, not to mention Wonder Woman. Instead, audiences were treated to a psychotic Batman trying to murder Superman for much of the movie. This edition includes the "Ultimate Edition," which is a little longer and was rated R. Not sure how many fans have been clamoring to see a R-rated Superman movie...

Ten years in and Marvel Studios is still at the top of their game. This one-two punch (Infinity War would arrive a few months later) proved 2018 belonged to Marvel. Michael B. Jordan's villain was one of the most complex villains the Studio has ever put on the big screen and the movie was rightfully nominated for a number of Oscars (though admittedly Best Picture was a bit of a stretch). Take me back to Wakanda!
