The movie that set the standard for horror in cinema finally comes to 4K! Halloween has been my fave horror since the first time I saw it on VHS. The 4K transfer is pretty good. The Dolby Atmos is crisp and clear. The thunder storm in Michael’s break out at the beginning is excellent- the thunder and rain are directly above - right where they should be!

I may be a bit biased on my review for these movies, as they are my all time faves, but, this is the best upgrade from BD to 4K UHD that I’ve seen. The atmos is quite good as is the all around sound.
If you have the special edition BD of these, you’ll need to keep them because the 4K set does not come with the Appendices.
