First one was broken and it's noisier

The first Tivo Edge we received was dead on arrival. It would not load past the first screen. Best Buy sent us a new one and now it randomly restarts occasionally. You can be watching something and it will go black and restart. It also doesn't appear to have Disney+ or Apple+ on it either. My kids love Disney+ and now I am having to load that on another device.
It is also a bit noisy and can easily be heard while in use or not. This could have been an easy win due to the 4K HDR and upscaling and instead it is limited and has software issues it appears.

Finding that it works exactly the same to the point that I cannot even tell a difference. It isn't faster and I am just not that impressed for the cost. The battery life is way better than the 4 and I am liking that. Still, they went with a USB-C port so I am having to buy a new cord for my monitor that worked through the Mini-DisplayPort on the 4. It lacks other ports and still has a super clear but super reflective screen so in low light screen background situations you see yourself. It is good but could have been updated more so you noticed a really improvement in performance or functionality.

The monitor was set to a HD 1080P setting and the VGA port won't convert it appropriately. Therefore, the screen stayed black. It should have worked in my opinion.

Not sure why but the main plug will cause one person's earbuds to drop and the other's to stay working. When it works it is great but it sometimes takes a giggle to get it in the right spot so that the signal comes through both outlets equally.
