Unit broke after 2 months of light use. JUNK

Unit stopped working after 2 months of light use. I opened the disc tray one day after getting an error on the screen and it reeked of burnt plastic. I'm unfortunately out of the return period at Best Buy so now I'm stuck dealing with getting a replacement through the manufacturer. Why does Best Buy sell something so poorly made? It's a shame that Best Buy won't honor the products they sell after such a short period of time unless you buy an extended warranty. Two months of use is nothing. Take this one off the shelves Best Buy. It's junk.
