Finally we get a Batman at its roots. We see the beginnings of the World’s Greatest Detective as he takes on The Riddler. Director Matt Reeves grounds it in its own way from The Dark Knight Trilogy. Michael Giacchino composes probably the quintessential Batman theme. With time it could overlap the Danny Elfman theme. Last but not least, Robert Pattinson delivers as Batman. If you haven’t followed his career, he has grown as an actor and dives deep into the roles that you forget he was ever in Twilight.

Even after its re-edit it still doesn’t live up to the first two films. It has a whole different intro and the ending is cut a bit shorter. It kinda made a bit more sense but not by much. No bonus features. If you are a completionist, then watch. For spoilers, look below.
