Will settings on my older Apple TV easily transfer to the newest Apple TV, like passwords and sign on credentials and downloaded apps?
Hi JimReiss, good question. As for me the apps probably do automatically download if sing into the same apple id your previous apple tv is signed on. As for me i had to download the apps manually since I'm now using a different apple id with m new apple tv but as for passwords/credentials go, it should be easy - at least with me it was. Once the app was downloaded i went into the sign in section and it recognized that i have an account for that certain app from there i synced it with my iphone and signed into my credentials automatically

What does it mean for the options when it says Wifi + Unlocked. What is the difference between that and regular wifi? If you choose a carrier does that mean you always have service and dont have to rely on wifi?
@Brea29 regarding your last question - YES you're correct. If you get the WiFi only edition u can only have access to the internet whenever you're connected to WiFi. However if you get the WiFi + Unlocked edition u can access the internet whenever connected to a WiFi signal and always IF you add/connect your ipad with a carrier
