I don't think Americans would immediately accept "robots" driving our kids around (let alone holding our babies) or piloting airliners. The newly sentient androids, I think, still acted more like robots sitting around than like conscious people curious about what this new existence was all about.

An entertaining fast moving action movie requiring a "suspension of belief". A scenic beginning in "Nice, France" although the real life resort is 10 miles away down the coast in Antibes. The two main stars are better suited as TV actors. And Tom Selleck gets to play like an older Magnum, P.I.. This won't win any awards although the leading man won a Razzie for something else. But it looks like producers spent some money on sets and locations.

The disc motor IS a bit noisy but only noticeable when not playing a disc in a quiet room. Anytime a disc is in the unit the motor will run spinning it even if it's not playing the disc menu. And it was noisy enough for me to hear up to 10 ft. away in a quiet room. Yes, I measured it! Specs say it will play a number of writable/re-writable DVD and CD formats but haven't had a need to test that. I like that there are both optical and a 2nd HDMI audio only digital outputs. Sorry, no analog audio outputs. But it has LAN, Wifi, and USB inputs which I haven't tested since my TV has that.

One would think they would run out of ideas with this genre but each movie has it's own separate plot and isn't a continuation of the previous one. The plots are different enough to hold your attention. And the special effects are impossible to tell apart from what's real, even in 4K UHD.

I have 15" Cerwin Vegas so no need for a subwoofer and no space to put a center channel speaker. The automated sound level balance settings for your listening position using a microphone at your seat works great as does the automatic ARC (audio return channel) from my TV's HDMI port. No problems picking up noise free radio broadcasts. And the remote is easy to use but not too cluttered with buttons.

I would rate this TV at 5 stars hands down except for an HDMI input issue where it doesn't recognize our Tivo sporadically on HDMI 2. I wanted to be sure it wasn't the Tivo so switched it out with my Roku and the same thing happened. Message across the screen stating NO SIGNAL - TIVO, etc. So I have to unplug the HDMI cord which is new and rated properly, plug it back in and then the Tivo gets recognized. We never turn the Tivo off so I know there is definitely a signal going to input 2. It's just doesn't always show a signal being found. I imagine I should get in touch with someone about this but because it's sporadic not sure they can help with it? Other than that minor inconvenience this TV is FANTASTIC! I have owned many Sony TV's, LG, Samsung but honestly the coloring on this 75" knocks your socks off! I am a VERY VERY fussy buyer as well. I scrutinize everything. I am knocking on wood but as far as screen issues I have not experienced any of the problems some others are saying. I did adjust the settings to my liking, different from the factory, and it looks amazing! I got this at such a fabulous price too. Having 5 HDMI ports is wonderful...we are using them all. The Vizio P Series is awesome and this company has come a long way in improving their sets! We own 2 other Vizio 2016 model 60" TV's ... lower end quality but still 4K ... and they have lovely pictures as well. I did buy a 4 year extended warranty just in case but for now if you are in the market for a really great TV at a good price, grab one of these while you can!

We had that same strange thing happen using a Comcast Xfinity box on all the HDMI ports of our 75" M75-C1 model. After a few hours it would go blank and display "No Video - Comcast", in this case. We would reset the tv or switch to a different HDMI port and it would work fine for a day or so. But we discovered on testing all the HDMI inputs that when switching inputs it would work fine indefinitely, until we renamed that input from the default "HDMI 2", or whatever number, to "Comcast". Leaving the HDMI inputs on the default name "HDMI <no.>" seems to let it work fine. We think it's an incompatibility with this Comcast box since it never happens with the Fire Stick or Bluray player on HDMI inputs.

Hooked up correctly but my bose speakers only work when watching direct tv/xbox. However when watching netflix/youtube/fandango etc. only tv speakers will work. TV has optical and told needed for this. Salesman said this receiver has it. Was he wrong.
The receiver has two digital optical inputs and one RF digital one on the rear near the top under "Digital Audio In". The two at the top are labeled "optical". The connection is foolproof so either you have a bad optical cable or you have to enable the ARC return audio on your TV for that HDMI port.

Does this tv have a built in antenna or would it require an antenna to get local channels if you don't have cable?
Everything in the User Manual implies there is no built-in antenna but it never says there isn't. But there isn't any reason to think there is one. Look at pages 42 & 43 in the online manual for this model. A couple questions are on "How do I watch antenna TV", and "I see “noise” or static on the screen".
