I got this for my mother for Christmas, and the uses are endless. Yes, it is a mixer, but it also has attachments that do so much more, like the meat grinder and pasta making attachments. Plus, its a very solid appliance, and should last for a while.

Great smart home device for small system

This system has a lot of capabilities and integrates with a lot of other services, plus you can control it with the app or pair it with a smart home controller. The one drawback is the limitation on devices. Because I have a larger AV system, I could not incorporate any lighting controls. I also paired it with my Harmony One remote, and keep the companion remote that came with this in a different room. BUT, for the money, its definitely worth adding to your system for ease of use and smart home integration of your TV and AV equipment.

Everyone has there preference in streaming devices, I happen to really like the Apple TV to connect all my content, especially for people who also have an iPhone, iPad, and Mac or MacBook because of AirPlay, which allows you to stream music, video, or mirror the display of your device. One drawback in this generation is that Apple no longer has the "Radio" App that included thousands of free music channels that used to be available on the 3rd generation Apple TV.

I've owned several iPads since they were initially released. This generation is far my favorite because of the price point. The only drawback is that the screen feels a little "hollow" to the tap as compared with earlier models. However, it's still a sturdy tablet.

No, this is only a splinter that takes 1 output from a device (like a computer or Blu-Ray player), and sends the signal to 2 different TVs/Monitors. You'd need an HDMI selector/switch to switch between output devices.

I want to run an app off of my Iphone on to a Samsung computer monitor in my bedroom, it is for a stationary cycling app called Zwift. I would also like to connect it to my big tv in the living room so I can watch Apple TV programs, is this possible?
Depending on the computer monitor, yes. I have my Apple TV connected to a 1920x1080 Dell computer monitor in my bedroom, and my Samsung TV in the Den. To connect this to a computer monitor, check what input the monitor has, if it has HDMI then you're good to go. If it uses DVI or VGA, just purchase a connector/converter (BestBuy should have them). If you want to display it to 2 monitors, just buy an HDMI switch or HDMI splitter, but remember, the signal will be the same, so it will display in the lower resolution (My TV is 4K, but I have to display it at 1080p so I can also get the signal on the Dell monitor in my bedroom). One more note, you may also need another source for audio if you're using a computer monitor.
