Our old router was 10 years old, and it was time for a new device. Bought this one based on needs and the reviews. Set up was the only hitch, the instructions say to go to the ASUS set up web address to configure the device, but no matter the browser I used all that came up was: PAGE DOES NOT EXIST. Have no fear though, I download the ASUS ap onto my phone and using it I set the router up with no issue. Most of my devices are wired using the units ethernet ports, but our outdoor Ring Stick Up cam, and one TV on our 2nd floor uses the WiFi. Both work great with the signal sent from the router, and all the wired connections work fantastic.

to use as a alternate internet connection. The ethernet port quit working on our desktop PC. I originally purchased a different USB ethernet adapter, and it was slow and disconnected a lot. I purchased this one in hopes in would not disconnect and be faster. The speed now is very fast, however this still disconnects like the old one. Running the troubleshooter gives the message "default gateway not available" "resetting the ethernet adapter" and then is connected once again. Doesn't take much effort to run the fix, just annoying sometimes when in the middle of something. Still a very good device!

If you love Japanese...

sci-fi TV series, this one is for you! Made after the Star Wars like Message From Space film, this TV series is a blast. Crazy practical FX and wild characters move at a fast pace, no boring episodes here. All in Japanese, with English subtitles all the SD episodes are here on blu ray. Sure, it would have been great if the original film had been scanned to HD, but the quality here is fantastic anyway. Hopefully, the company continues to release more older live action TV series from Japan.

is why this set is getting a 3 star review. Produced to pander to the people who cry "the picture doesn't fill my entire screen" the quality of the episodes suffer from being cropped and zoomed in. Picture quality would not have suffered if left in the 4:3 aspect ratio. The series itself is fun enough, although coming at the end of creator Glen Larson's career it does NOT measure up to many other of his series: Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider, etc. If you are a Larson fan, grab it at a low price.
