Chris Evans hits a new high. Great acting, enjoyable movie, and some great tips on how to be a maths wizard.

Good movie, poor 4K

Every 4K movie so far looks worse than the Blu-ray version. While 4K definition is sharper, the picture is dark and the colors overdone - everyone looks bright pink. Stick with the Blu-ray.

Use this Monster Black Platinum UHD HDMI cable to create a tailored audio-visual setup in your home theater. In-wall certification lends versatility in your component placement, and the 5-foot length means less cable left over. This Monster Black Platinum UDH HDMI cable is triple-layer shielded to eliminate the chance of frequency interference.

Cable seems to work OK - not sure if worth the price especially with the false-labeling lawsuit ie. doesn’t have the claimed capability.

Enjoyable movie, didn’t notice any color oversaturation and overall darkening like other 4k movies.

Good movie, bad 4K

Blu-ray was fine but 4k has a jump in one spot. However given the past difficulties returning even unopened “media” to the store, I didn’t try returning it once it had been opened.

Ok for completion

Weakest of the Riddick movies. Case was damaged in transit, and store return was complicated because it was “media”.

Overlooked gem

Great gangster movie. Case arrived damaged in transit, so returned it without opening. Returning was complicated as it was “media” and the store couldn’t put back into my account the points I’d used, so they finally gave me a gift card instead.

Marvel's potty-mouthed mercenary anti-hero is back in this laugh- and action-packed sequel. Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) assembles a team of mutants called X-Force in order to stop cybernetic, time-traveling soldier Cable (Josh Brolin) from killing Russell Collins (Julian Dennison), a young mutant who will murder Cable's family in the future. What could possibly go wrong when Deadpool and Cable are forced to put their differences aside and work together? With Zazie Beetz, Morena Baccarin. 119 min. Widescreen; Soundtracks English Dolby Atmos, DVS 5.1, Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1, French Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles English (SDH), Spanish, French; gag reel; photo gallery; deleted scenes; extended scenes; featurettes; audio commentary. Four-disc set.

Lacks the fun of the first movie. And 4k is just dark and hard to enjoy - colors on Blu-ray are much brighter and more realistic.

Didn’t like this movie at first, but it improves with repeated viewing. The 4k version doesn’t do anything that Blu-ray didn’t do better.

Good movie, bad 4k

The Incredible Hulk is worth watching because of Ed Norton. But the 4k format gets its “deeper blacks” at least partly by darkening EVERYTHING, and the colors are over saturated - possibly attempting to compensate. The Blu-ray version is much more pleasant and realistic to look at, especially with a 4k upscaling player. Stick to the Blu-ray.
