My original MacBook that I had purchased back in 2011 was conking out. Just slowing down considerably. It was time to upgrade. This new laptop is a wonder to behold. So much faster and beautiful graphics. Took me while to workout the slightly different operating functions but after I found the in's and out's of this new machine it was back to normal. I definitely recommend this MacBook Pro M1 Pro chip for anybody looking to upgrade from an old MacBook.

A fond movie from my childhood and basically one of my favorite movies of all time. Here it is on 4k and finally given the respect this movie deserves. Every time I watch it, It takes me back to those days when movies became part of who you were and stayed with you for the rest of your life.
The 4k transfer really is a solid improvement over the original blu ray. It's so much more vivid and, the colors just pop. The audio. Here is where I was initially concerned. I had heard that there was a massive overhaul of the soundtrack and complete reimagining of the sound effects. but my fears were assuaged when I found out the original sound mix was still available on audio option settings. I tested it out and it's there in t's glorious original track. For those of you who are not purists check out the atmos track
with the new sound effects. It's not bad. The audio is very strong and enjoyable for an alternate experience. Give it a whirl.

A movie that I have grown to appreciate more and more with repeat viewing. The premise is so interesting, it draws you in.
A great looking 4k transfer and a terrific audio to boot. If you've watched this movie before it's known for that bone jarring bass response in the first seconds of this movie. There was reports, that particular bass effect was curtailed somewhat. After having listened to it several times I have to say it's pretty much there at least for the most part. It still shook the walls.. You won't be disappointed.

I've always been a fan of this movie since I saw it in the theaters back 1995. It's never boring and with it's weird sexual overtones it draws you in. I guess it's my Quilty pleasure.
The 4k transfer is terrific. Noticeably better than the blu ray, but what stands out is the audio. The 5.1 output packs a punch. Folks, you got to get this one.

I purchased this movie out of curiosity. I never saw it in the theaters because of all the wokeism going on in superhero movies these days so I passed at the time, but since it's release Iv'e heard a lot of good things about it, so I took a chance and bought the 4k blu ray. I found this movie enjoyable and quite refreshing without all the woke cringiness. It's sad that this is what determines wether I'll see a movie or not now.

This is one of the dumbest movies I have ever scene. Most of the characters are petty and unlikable ,and the dialogue is snarky and badly written. How this movie ever get made. What a waste of money and time. Avoid this piece of "you know what" at all costs.

What training goes with this? Will your Apple Technician help set up this computer?
When I purchased my original MacBook Pro 11 years ago I had absolutely no experience with computers. The Apple technicians at the Apple store that I purchased my computer from gave me a series tutorials on the basics of keystrokes and functions. Depending on what you want to do with your new computer. The tutorials can be very in-depth or just a familiarization or both. When I bought my new current computer at Best Buy I asked a few questions just to get started but for the most part, I just carried over what I already new from my original computer. However. It is very likely that I will be asking or signing up for more tutorials to get a better understanding of this very new and upgraded computer.
