I am expecting this to be a great TV because of all the great reviews. But I bought this TV over a week ago and still don't have it up and running because I'm trying to figure out how to best set it up. It is very long 57.5" wide and with the feet being at the very end I would need at least a 60" long stand. I already have a very nice 55" long stand that I want to use. I can't wall mount this due to the design of my TV room. So I've been shopping for stands. If you are in the same boat, then let me give one piece of advice. Buy something that swivels, not only side to side but a little top to bottom or comes with lots of spacers. The back of this TV where the VESA holes are located actually slopes a little, it isn't a flat 90 degrees from the top holes to the bottom holes when you stand this up. I bought these cool heavy duty Echogear "Universal" legs that don't work. But after speaking with Echogear customer service they have another stand that will work the EGTV2.

Can you verify that the horizontal measurements are 57.5" instead of the listed 59.9" in specifications? I was about to pull the trigger on this tv because the length is a huge issue for our entertainment center setup, and I don't think I could even afford the extra .5 inches. Is it not 56.9" as the product on this page lists?
