avoid open box items

i tried to save some money with an open box item from the warehouse. It was rated as excellent condition, which according to bestbuys website is like new conditon and all parts come with it. The soundbar arrived in the original box but nothing was wrapped in the original protective wrapping which was in the box but just shoved into empty spaces in the box. The sound bar had obvious marks on the plastic fascia and it was also missing the remote control which makes setting it up impossible. So much for excellent condition.
