Closest thing to an old school top loader

I thought I had large washers in the past, but this thing is huge!
It's the closest thing I can find to an old school top loader with an agitator.
It's technically an "HE" washer, but that's only in the "Precise Fill" setting that can be safely ignored since you can set the water level manually (low, med, high, max).

Required for washer installation, but not the best

This was required for my washer installation.
6 feet is too long for my application (since the washer is 3 or 4 inches from the connections).
The hoses don't have 90 degree angles, so the hoses stick straight out of the back of the washer, which means it must be pulled away from the wall more than if the hose had a 90 degree angle.
I would have preferred a 3" hose with a 90 degree bend (like I had). I'm not pleased I wasn't given a choice.

We'll deliver, install and make sure your new washing machine is working. We'll level your washer, plug it in and attach the hoses. Additional charges may apply if not up to local codes or requirements.

Best Buy deals with services and parts better

The thing I preferred about Best Buy's service is that it was treated like an accessory to my order, so rescheduling the washer delivery also rescheduled the installation. You would think this would be standard, but the other places I ordered from kept moving my delivery date but the haul away, installation, and hoses wouldn't move with the delivery date. That's partially why I cancelled with the other guys and ordered from Best Buy, who delivered, installed, and hauled my old washer away the next day.

Best Buy handles "services and parts" better

They hauled the old washer away. Before ordering from Best Buy, I had an order with both of the big home improvement chains. One of them charged the same, and one charged $5 less for this service.

I've been using Apple Music for years. If you often tell Siri you "love" or "dislike" the music it recommends, it starts to build a good profile of your tastes. I have the original HomePod, so I'm very familiar with how these work. I ordered two of these to use as a stereo pair with an Apple TV in a guest room, and I was surprised by the clarity of music and dialogue. They are much better sounding than any other similarly sized speaker I've owned. They lack a bit of the bass punch of the larger HomePod, but sound fuller than you might expect from a speaker this size.

They called ahead about 15 to 20 minutes before arriving, and demonstrated precautions due to the pandemic. They wore masks, and were in and out quickly. The box for my 65" TV looked perfect, which I can't say about most deliveries these days. The home delivery was free, so hats off the Best Buy for that.

How to check which hose is for hot and cold water
The hot water hose is the one you connect to the hot water. There is no such thing as a special hot and cold hose.

I have a GE washer model number GTW810 SPJ1. I have soft water and want to know if the automatic detergent dispenser can be changed to dispense less detergent

What is the normal spin cycle time for white & colors? My machine is spinning for over 5 min on each of these cycles. It seems like the machine is "stuck" on the spin cycle I turn the machine off thinking that I might burn the motor out.

Why does it seem like there’s never enough water in the tub to wash the clothes properly. I always have it on deep fill still seem not enough water .also even when you Distribute the cloths evenl in the tub it becomes out kilter. Inside of tub rusted
