The keyboard felt really nice and the palm rest is magnetic and snaps into place nicely. One issue that I had with the keyboard is that I thought it would be wireless, but it wasn't. The other issue that I had is that the corsair software would not work properly on my work laptop.

Great Xbox accessory

It took me years to finally buy this controller. I’m happy with it. I’d say this is worth it if you play FPS games (WZ, COD, etc.). Using the paddles gives you the ability to do things like reload or armor up or mark locations - without moving your thumbs from the buttons or joystick. The weight of the controller is legit too. It feels like good build quality.
One of the things that this got rid of for like 2 weeks was controller drift. After a couple weeks, it came back but was less intense. All in all I’d say if you are thinking about this and play FPS games, do it!

Fast, loud, and hot - but does it’s job!

I bought this because there were some pc games I wanted to play (e.g. door kickers 2, ground branch, EFT) that were not in console. The machine can handle everything I’ve thrown at it. Unreal Engine 5 works smoothly. The only downside of the machine is that it gets crazy loud and hot. I generally keep mine on a desk and use Bluetooth accessories, so it doesn’t bother me too much. Just be aware that it’s loud and hot.

Good console but don’t stress over not having one

It was just chance that I got this, but I’m happy with it. If I’m being honest, the only major difference between this and the last gen console is that games load crazy fast. If you can deal with your loading times and have the latest Xbox (excluding this), you aren’t missing much.

I legit still have this same watch in March of 2020. That is not a brag, but it IS a testament to how these things last. If you have the opportunity to buy a first-generation Apple watch, dont... because you know.... s'old.... for sure buy a newer one, but do it while knowing that I am still rocking this old one with no issues (except for it being slow and incompatible with most apps).

This Xbox's display failed after about a year or so. I didnt have the geek squad warranty, so I had to jump through an infinite amount of hoops with Microsoft to figure out the issue (ended up just buying a new console).
Also, it is 2020! For sure buy a newer console. These are trash.

If the Batteries die down after a year or so, can we still use this as a Plug and Play ?

If you use the play and charge kit, can you still charge the controller on the charging station ?
You cannot. The difference between the play and charge vs. this kit is that the backs of the battery door have a cutout that exposes a charging connection (on the battery itself). This part of the battery sits directly on the charging station to charge the batteries. The play and charge is charged by the usb connection on the controller. I actually prefer the charging station because I seem to constantly have issues with the usb port on the xbox (from either the cable or the controller itself).
