Ordered this switch so that the outside front door light could be turned on automatically. Install was not difficult, really depends on the wiring once you take out the old switch, but it isn’t complicated. When the switch is off, there is a soft lit indicator letting you know it’s off. That’s a nice touch. I didn’t have issues pairing it with Apple home app…followed the steps but no luck…I was able to pair it with our Alexa. Set up a schedule for it to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. Planning on getting some more for other switches in the house.

Great TV replacement

This TV replaced an old Samsung that had no more give. RIP. After doing some quick searches I had it narrowed down to LG and Samsung. Went to Best Buy to see them live and when I was asked if I needed anything, I asked which would be the better choice. The representative was honest and frank about the 2 brands and gave me some clear and good information. I took it into consideration and decided to go with LG. It’s been about a month now and so far so good!! Picture quality if far better than our previous TV. We have it hooked up to an AppleTV and a Fire Stick and both inputs provide great picture quality…Apple TV might look a little better since it’s plugged into the better HDMI. Sound is good overall and great when the input is in DolbyAtmos. The Universal remote has been very handy for controlling both the AppleTV and the Fire Stick. The ThinQ feature is nice, but I still haven’t mastered it. Overall, I am very pleased with this TV and hope to enjoy it for quite some time.

Good replacement Fridge…

This refrigerator replaced a Kenmore that we got when we moved into this house 17 years ago. The Kenmore did its best to the very end. We looked at a lot of brands and decided to go with Samsung. Some considerations that we had in mind were that we wanted something reliable, a little smaller and sleek that would fit better in the space. So we went with this smaller model after going to the store to see it in person. We purposely went smaller so as not to waste food by having it “linger” too long in the fridge because it was hidden or stuffed way in the back. This model is very well lit inside and has easy to access shelves. We are happy with it!! If there is one thing that knocked one star off of the review is that the water dispenser is oddly placed and there is no light for the dispenser. You have to precisely place the glass, cup or container in the right spot or else it might spill, and going to the fridge at night for a glass of water means that you have to turn the lights on because there is no light for the dispenser. Besides that, the refrigerator is extremely functional and does an excellent job.

Replacement for an old laptop

I was pretty frustrated with the 2008 Apple laptop that I was pushing to work for me. The hard drive was full and the OS couldn’t be updated anymore, plus my old iPad wasn’t keeping up with the demands of web pages today. So when I was deciding whether to get another laptop, I took a good look at what I was using the laptop for and decided that I could get by with this IPad. We purchased this item to replace and old washer & dryer set that had taken care of business for almost 15 years. We researched a bit looking for something that had all of the functions that we needed and none of the extras we didn’t need. This unit won us over. We were planning on re-doing the laundry room so the color was another aspect that we liked. Something different than the usual black or stainless style look. To date, the unit does an excellent job handling the cleaning tasks for a household of 5. Great purchase.
