Just as good as Carpenters original outing. Lawrence fishbourne is great. Ethan Hawke is good too. I honestly really like John Leguizamo in all his movie outings. (Land of the Dead, The Pest, Empire, The super Mario Bros. ) Rogue pictures made a bunch of modern grind house movies.

I don’t think this movie gets the praise it deserves. It definitely performed better than most D-C movies at the time. I loved how it felt like a cartoon, and an LOTR style epic at the same time. The Crustacean army was so creepy. The Deep ocean as well as what lurks in it, terrifies me. It’s only fitting James Wan, of The conjuring and Insidious, is behind this. black manta is also a great villain. His design and his motivation works great. I saw this twice in theaters, 10/10, full recommendations from me.

The film has the charm and Witt to pull it off, Butler and Grillo are having so much fun in their rolls. If you miss the days where you’d browse the “action” isle at Blockbuster, or Family Video, and discovering Die Hard, assault on precinct 13, or Passenger 57, you’ll love this movie.

Great sound.I’ve had these for almost a year now, I got them at launch. But this is the second wireless turtle beach headset I’ve bought. And my cons with the last pair, carries over to this “new” model. It’s as if the only thing that changed was the design and extra padding on the crown and ear muffs. Sometimes I’ll be playing and it’ll loose connection to the Xbox and I’ll have to manually turn it off and on again. Other times I’ll watch a movie, and if I turn my head a certain way or move, the audio would get choppy and eventually disconnect. Or worth the price, be prepared to get replacements through Turtle Beach.
