Great card. Am able to play any game thrown at it on my 4K TV and max settings so far. Aesthetics wise this card is among the best on the market currently for my all black, RGB-less build.
Worth $1200? Not really. But, coming from a much weaker GPU from two generations ago and the upcoming RTX 4000 most likely will run into the same brutal shortages made me decided to make this rather tough purchase. Getting a 3080fe is still seemingly more difficult than it is worth at this point.

Fantastic entry to the Dragon Quest Builders series. This is the second and latest game in the DQ Builders series which is a Minecraft Clone with DQ Storytelling and magic. This time the whole world ties into one and are connected. The first game has worlds dedicated to chapters and all used separate saves. This one is different and there are no speedruns required to do for trophy hunters. It’s an easy platinum too.

Really sold me on the Yakuza franchise. This is my first game of the franchise I played and it’s really good . I think I will love the other titles in this franchise, but I am a sucker for turn based JRPGs and not so much of action beat em ups. Either way I am impressed. If you’re both a Yakuza fan and a JRPG lover I believe you will love this one.

Xbox One X and Series X somewhat technical review

Works ok on Xbox One X and Xbox Series X, but can’t say much for the original models or Series S. That said I think CDPR should have delayed this game for another year and release it only on next gen consoles. Even high end PCs with RTX 3080 GPUs had issues maintaining a 60FPS performance. The game was rushed out for the holidays + this year new consoles are launched and being sold really fast so yeah CDPR released this game now to take advantage of this holiday grabbing some share of the thunder. That didn’t go well.
This is more of a technical review than a content review and it’s based on certain console models only. The game is fun to me but it might not be fun to you if you don’t like scanning the environments. The driving and shooting mechanics in the game also has some complaints but I am not too bothered by them. It’s a really ambitious game by a developer that had every intention on creating a mega hit that sadly disappointed many.
All in all CDPR blew a potential GOTY 2021 contender with this launch, and just a potential good game period. Now they’re really paying for the mess they created for them and their fans worldwide.

PS5 version has some lengthy load times so as long as we have third parties that don’t optimize their games well, substantial load times are here to stay for this new gen. Maybe the PS4 version is a lot worse but I can not speak for the game on another platform.
The game itself is better than Odyssey by a lot. I like that it feels a bit like Skyrim. Origins and Black Flag are still my favorite AC game but this one is a great installment to the franchise.

Secure way to purchase Xbox games

Codes for Xbox are a little lengthy but it is more secure than buying digital with a credit or debit card. The 15 dollar card is often bought in multiples for me so I walk out of the store with $30, $60, $90, $120 etc. Never had problems buying Xbox digitally with any of their currency cards.
