Great movie, glad to have it in 4k

The movie is amazing. Glad to get a 4k steelbook for it. Great addition to the collection. The artwork is fine, but I'm not a fan of the matte finish on steelbooks. Otherwise, perfect.
PS: Best Buy, please stop sending steelbooks in bags or mailers. They almost always get dented or bent and then I have to return them and wait for another. Just use a box.

First Time In 4k, What Can I Say?

Great to finally have this movie in 4k! I really like the artwork on the inside of the case. The artwork on the outside is okay. It would be so much cooler to have the artwork from the standard 4k release with the tornado. This one is kind of plain but oh well. If a movie is in 4k my preferred way to own it is steelbook, so keep them coming. This one arrived with no damage.
PS: Best Buy, please stop sending steelbooks in bags or mailers. They almost always get dented or bent and then I have to return them and wait for another. Just use a box.

I absolutely adore the artwork on this version. This movie had many different steelbooks and for once the Best Buy version is the best one. The film itself looks great in 4k. Not a huge fan of the Lionsgate digital copy redemption process...just use Movies Anywhere like the other studios, please.

Very nice upscale

As with the other films re-released in 4k, this one looks overall very crisp and you can definitely tell the difference between it and the HD version. This one does not seem to suffer from the blurriness issues that the Iron Man upscales had. For what it is, it's amazing. There are a lot of upscales where you can see no difference in quality. This is not one of those. The packaging itself is wonderful. The artwork and borders go well together. Hopefully Ragnarok gets a re-release to match. Great addition to my MCU 4k steelbook collection.

Good quality conversion overall

As far as the steelbook itself goes, it is beautiful. Has nice artwork on the case and the discs. Mine did come damaged with a decent sized sent, no doubt due to Best Buy's insistence on sending fragile items in plastic bags with no padding. Best Buy, please send steelbooks in boxes only. I don't have a store near me so it's a pain to return by mail but I end up having to since I buy these as collectors items.
As far as the movie itself goes, I'm sure you've all seen and love it. This is new to 4k (aside from those awful quality foreign releases a few years ago). For the most part, the picture is amazing. It's obviously got to be an upscale but it looks nearly native 4k. It does not disappoint. This is the best Iron Man has ever looked. I did notice in a few scenes where the picture looked a little blurry, but this was usually things in the background and doesn't largely effect the 4k experience. Overall it's a must have for any MCU fan.

Annoying digital code issues

The steelbook is quite nice, has good artwork, nice finish. The only issue I have is that the Chapter 2 digital code redeems in 4k, but the code for the first movie redeems in HDX. I already bought a standalone 4k version of the first movie and it did the same thing. I was excited when Chapter 2 redeemed in 4k and thought the first movie would do the same. Unfortunately it does not. If you already had the movie digitally and try to put the code in for an upgrade it will tell you already own the movie and invalidate the code. Not sure why they give you one in 4k and one not. I feel like if you're buying the version with 4k discs you should get the digital in 4k as well.

I bought this because I have a lot of media and this storage shelf is pretty large. I love the size and look of it. Unfortunately, the quality is complete garbage. The particle board is such low quality that my shelf broke in several places while putting it together...I was being gentle too. I was able to retrofit it so it holds together, but it's going straight in the trash the next time I move. I know it wouldn't survive being moved and re-assembled. I had high hopes for it, but it is a big let down. Trying to find a hardwood one to replace it.

Interstellar opens on Earth in the distant future, as Mother Nature is waging war on humanity. Great film, but the digital version does not include the IMAX aspect ratio scenes. Much if this film was shot in IMAX, but you keep the big black bars throughout the entire film on digital. I think this is a Christopher Nolan problem. Not a problem if you have a 4k blu ray player, but man are they expensive.

Add a warm ambience to your home with this 70-inch TV stand. Maybe. You'll need to find out the distance between your stand's legs if it's a TV with two legs. It will need to be 70 inches or less to fit in this case. If it's got a single stand in the middle, it should fit, but the TV will definitely have the edges sticking off the side by probably 5 inches on each side. That's a guess based on how my own TV is. Mine is 75 inches and is exactly as wide as the stand. My TV has a two leg stand and the legs are almost all the way to the edges.
