This 4k of Blues Brothers is the best this film will look. Though their is grain, it is very watchable. The real reason to get this version is the sound. They killed the remaster of the soundtrack. You feel like you are in a concert as the songs get played. A must pickup if you are a fan of the movie.

Best soundbar for the money!

I love my Nakamichi soundbar system. The quality of sound for both music and movies is exceptional. The power and warm even bass from 2 10 inch subs is incredible. A few minor critiques. First, the soundbar does seem to lose the arc/cec connection allowing the tv remote to control the volume for seemingly no reason. I have it hooked up to a Vizio tv, so maybe it is a brand issue. The remote has a ton of adjustments you can make, this is a positive, but hard to judge where to finally position each setting without writing each one down and then working from there to equalize the system to your taste. I have found the movies setting does a great job for most movies. The music setting does well for high end recordings and music, but pop, r&b, new country and others will need adjustments from song to song. However, with that all said, this system is incredible! I have listened to $5,000-$15,000 stereo systems that didn't sound as good. I highly recommend this product. My setup is in a mid sized room with vaulted ceilings, I do get some atmos like sounds with the sse turned up. I also use the dipole setup which accommodates my room setup better. Overall I say go get this system and blow your family, friends and yourself away!!

The directions I have read so far show how to hook this sound bar up and what settings to use.I will be streaming with a Roku 4K Ultra and a LG tv with ARC. Will this work properly with this sound bar? I just want to make sure before I commit.

Is there a sound delay when pausing and unpausing/rewinding/changing audio sources? I saw reviews for the older model saying their was but only a couple of reviews saying this eARC model does.
sounds delays and pausing is not an issue. Moving between sources, powering on and off can on occasion have a very short delay, but definitely not an issue. Btw, some of those delays are based on the OS and lag with streaming services. Not a problem with the sound system. I owned the previous model and upgraded to this beast, and I absolutely love it. eARC is fabulous and I would take this system over any soundbar system on the market.

Do these 3 Nakamichi sound systems 9.2.4 , 7.2.4 and 7.1.4 require a a/v receiver of any type , pre-amp or amp ? If not , are they compatible with Samsung 7series tv 2019 model year ? and will it work by just hooking to the tv and proper connections made?
none of the 3 models require an a/v receiver of any type. They will all connect directly to your tv by HDMI arc, HDMI, USB, coaxial or optical connection. Yes, it should work with the Samsung Tv mentioned. Simple setup and I set my system up in less that 30 minutes.

Subwoofer maybe too tall (20.5"?) to fit under 1 end table by the couch. Can sub be laid on its side without compromising sound quality? And do both pairs of surround speakers need to be connected or 1 to each sub is OK if there is not enough room? Thx
I wouldn't lay the subs on their side. They are designed to point down and create sound from hitting the surface underneath. You must connect each surround speaker to a sub. Preferably a left and right to each sub. After that placement it is up to you. I do the dipole setup where I connected each right and left sub together and treat them as one speaker per side. Long speaker wires allow a lot of options with setup.
