One of the "better' MCU movies

Granted, this was Universal Studios and in the infancy of the MCU and not even as we know it, but the movie had so much potential and amazing star power that I'm honestly shocked this didn't do better. Hulk finally had a decent villain and not a giant poodle... Norton's turn as the beleaguered Bruce Banner was better than the bland portrayal we got from Mark Ruffalo that felt more like a harkening back to a 90s rendition of what could have been...
All in all, I was even looking forward to where the movie could have gone had they stayed he course with the ending of the movie potentially leading into one of the biggest encounters in comic book history.

James Spader saved this otherwise horrible movie

The Avengers' crew second outing was, to say the least, a waste of time and a sad mark on the 10 year history of the MCU. James Spader's work as Ultron was the only thing that saved this train-wreck. It had great action scenes for the 3D part of it, but no substance. It was the epitome of letting the fame of the franchise get away from them.

An "okay" start to a tired franchise

Homecoming was an "alright" start to Spiderman's career back home at Disney, but it had elements added into it that were subverted by instances of more "creatively" changed aspects of the source material that started it all in order to tie it into the "bigger picture of the shared universe" thus making it feel like it couldn't initially spread its proverbial wings and be in its own movie. Keaton as a villain was watered down to be another Disney-fied, sympathetic baddie. It was also a little too "cutesie", but as always, nice to look at in 3D.

Ant-Man was a great addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a way to cap off a roller coaster ride of ups and downs in the previous movies throughout Phase 2. I thought it was an odd choice to go with this iteration of Ant-Man as he was not "alive", having been killed off in the comic books, but nonetheless it worked well enough to warrant a sequel from earlier this summer. The 3D as always is a treat to see and it really works well for this movie in particular.

Captain America Civil War was something that could have been a super hero movie genre defying flick and it was close, but fell so short that it came up second place and fell far behind the far superior BvS DoJ film from the same year.
The story was a mix-matched edition of the source material and missed out so much of what was key to the plot that it detracted from the whole purpose behind the poignancy of the story itself.
This was nothing more than Avengers AOU 1.5 and it served the purpose of helping us to forget that horrible Joss Whedon movie and introduce Spiderman and Black Panther to the MCU. The 3D does pop and aids in helping to forget the many faults with what otherwise could have been an amazing film...

Thor The Dark World could have been so much more than just a badly directed foot note in a long list of bad Marvel movies, but it certainly wasn't the worst; I'm looking at you Iron Man 3...
That being said, I wanted to get all the Marvel movies in 3D, so, without further ado, I did. It's not bad to look at and always nice to see Natalie Portman, but beyond that, it's a movie to watch and get it over with quickly.

I was hesitant at first as I own a curved, flat panel 4K UHD Samsung TV and those models come with non-passive, battery operated 3D glasses. The battery life is literally a movie and, if you're lucky, the opening credits of another one. That's it. These glasses are non-passive, but rechargeable via USB and they powered on immediately and worked right out of the box with my TV. No issues at all, no loss in quality and they are absolutely dependable. They feel nd look like sunglasses, so very comfortable to wear.
