Ok Sci-fi film. Good afternoon flick

I saw L.S. in 84 (3rd grade in Germany). No 2nd viewing to the film until 2019 when I purchased the disc. It’s a good afternoon flick. It’s dated but that’s half the charm of it! It’s awesome that all these old movies are being released on Blu-ray and 4k!

I purchased this as a gift for a friend but she never got it (Oops!) She has always talked about how good Moonstruck was.
When the Blu-ray made it to my house-I figured I’d watch it before handing it over to her (She’s a close family friend-she wouldn’t cared if I watched lol). Well, I like it..so I’m gonna keep it now. It’s re-watchable. Glad I never told her I purchased it.
Great plot, terrific acting. Cher did an incredible job! She really does have wonderful acting chops. No question about that. Cher carried the film but the whole cast held their own tho

I’ve used different surge protectors over the years and this one appears to beat them all. One bonus I found to my purchase: Previously, when vacuuming, I would take the hose (of the vacuum) to clean the outlets not covered (suction any dust out so no build up could spark during a surge). To my surprise, this surge protector have outlet covers built in! How cool!! For now on, I’ll be purchasing for APC

This is a classic! I never saw D.D. growing up and I didn’t want too. I finally decided to view the movie- I waited until I was in my 40s to watch it. No need to wait as long as I did! Great film

If you are a fan of sci-fi and haven’t seen 2001, I recommend it highly...and on a 4k transfer.

The Movie I Never Knew I Needed

Life of Pi is a story about a boy and his cat....actually it’s a lot more than that. What a beautiful, enchanting, emotional and breathtaking film. Life of Pi might be a bit slow to some but WoW! What a ride this movie was of me. It’s definitely a film I will watch over the years. Money well spent for the disc.

Highly Disappointment

I’m a fan of Guillermo del Toro‘s films. I enjoy most of his movies but The Shape Of Water is trash. After it won all these awards, I was certain this must be his best-I was so wrong! Gee’s! How do they (Award folks) come up with who wins this or that? According to me, the film is a disaster. Great actors, great director-what went wrong?
This isn’t worth a 2nd viewing to me; I’ll stick with Guillermo del Toro’s previous projects.

I wasn’t a fan of the film growing up; But I caught it on tv a few years back and totally fell in love with it as an adult. I guess as a kid, it didn’t appeal to me; as adult, it sure does! It’s a classic gem. I’m unsure which scene is funnier: The Dirty Dancing mishap or the mole scene

1st Viewing

I just purchased the film and I thought I knew what I was buying but I was mistaken. Acting is good, storyline is alright. It’s worth $5. What made the flick for me is how everything came together towards the end. I had to make myself finish L.A. tho.
I found myself bored yet intrigued with how the story might play out. The end was worth my time....for a single viewing. I have to think about watching it again. Would I recommend it? That’s iffy. An edited version of the film, I would def recommend. As for the disc, I say pass it up. Wait on buying the disc and just catch it on TBS or whatever channel edits it’s content. L.A. Confidential could have been better; it could have been much more.
