I have been a long time Dan of the LOTR. I think I have all the versions in DVD and bluray. When I heard that the company will release the 4k version, I immediately preorder this box set. The 4k treatment was a delight to be seen as well as heard. With the HDR/DOLBY VISION and ATMOS, it was freaking awesome! As if I'm watoit again the first time. I will definitely recommend this to the LOTR fans!

I am looking forward in seeing this in 4k Ultra HD HDR. And it did not disappoint. Movie is great as I am a Blade fanatic! How I wish blade 2 will have a 4k hdr be sion as well. After a month of free use, I opted to subscribe to HBO MAX because of they simultaneously showing their new films same day as they are shown in theaters. Overall, it's a great service. I opted for the steel book edition because it looks wicked!!! I consider this as one of Arnie's great films. I was disappointed though with the video presentation. The people behind this disc upgrade did not do a great job. Film grains is so annoying and the audio sounded bad. Considering that the source is a 35 mm film that has a lot of info on it.

I have been a great fan of Chris Nolan's film. He's one of those directors that delivers. This film is not an exception. Very good video presentation and as always, Nolan prefers only 5.1 mix in all his movies which for me is a let down. When watoa movie half of it is visual and half is sound. Nevertheless, still GA very good twisted film that deserves a second or third watch for you to fully understand the story.
