We are late to the technology game, however, we needed a way to have our Disney Plus app, without having to buy a new TV. This was a little confusing (pretty sure due to operator error ) since it was all new, however, once set up it is cool. You have to add a credit card to set up Roku. If you don't have one, a visa gift card may work. After that, we were able to get some free TV as well. Pretty neat I will say!

I have the roku express & nintendo switch, both are hooked up to the TV. theres no “TV input” option in settings. Does this version of roku not support using HDMI? do I need to unplug roku and just use my regular tv (what i did before getting roku)??

Are these kid friendly?
That would depend on the kid, they could work for a very responsible child, they are wireless, so some children might drop or lose one, others would respect the freedom of having them. However, they are like most other electronic devices, and can be lost or even destroyed by moisture.
