Good suspense and a satisfying ending that doesn't quite wrap it all up for you.....the last thought for the viewer is "did she or didn't she?".......entertaining, and makes you think that maybe being a good samaritan might not be such a good idea...

Superb final chapter in the Rambo franchise

Excellent film for Sly and a superb wrap-up for the Rambo franchise! Not for the squeamish, this one packs lots of violence and most of it quite realistic. John Rambo is out for revenge against a Cartel style gang lead by 2 brothers. This is personal as his niece has been kidnapped and forced into prostitution by the gang. Rambo draws them into his home territory where he has laid his trap for them. All his military training and combat skills are needed to defeat this gang as he is greatly outnumbered....but in classic "Rambo" style, his revenge is exacting and fierce! A definite MUST for fans of the Rambo/First Blood franchise!

Take a hilarious ride with the Hoovers, one of the most endearingly fractured families in comedy history. Father Richard (Greg Kinnear) is desperately trying to sell his motivational success program... with no success. Meanwhile, pro-honesty mom Sher.

Warm, funny and odd

A family that's got it's share of problems and keeps running----even if it does run a bit off the beaten path. A story of a family coming together for a road trip for the youngest member---played nicely by Abigail Breslin, and Alan Arkin in classic form as the Grandpa. The film culminates with the "Little Miss Sunshine" pageant in California and the whole trip is worth it just to see the "dance routine" Grandpa has coached his granddaughter to perform in the talent competition---a true "show-stopper"! A bit racy for a family film---not for young children, but an entertaining trip.

Director keeps in style

Director Ari Aster keeps the same feel in this film as "Hereditary", which sets his movies apart; giving them a unique feel in the horror genre. Cultural differences are used for shock value as the young American travelers are caught off guard at a Swedish summer festival. The story reaches a bit in the ending and becomes somewhat implausible, but overall has an unsettling if not nightmarish affect to the audience. It is also quite sexually explicit. I would recommend this if you liked "Hereditary"....but if you were not entertained by that film, Midsommar may not be for you either.

It was 1969, and the lull at a once trendy hotel on the California/Nevada border ended with a rush of clientele including an aging priest (Jeff Bridges), a vacuum salesman (Jon Hamm), a drifter (Dakota Johnson), and a soul singer (Cynthia Erivo). However, agendas and identities aren't all what they seem... and between a hunt for hidden bank loot and cultists arriving at the door, no one should expect a good night's rest. A mystery involving the guests at a Nevada/California Motel....some questions answered, one is not----WHO is in the picture? Twists and turns keep this one interesting, Jeff Bridges turns in a fine performance, also a different kind of role for Chris Hemsworth. Makes a point of the powers of brainwashing on an abused young runaway in a cult surrounding, all in the midst of a good ol' fashioned mystery.
