If you ever have a rubber water supply line burst (Murphy says you would be out of town). Well then you would appreciate the logic of using high pressure metal supply lines like these. It is cheep insurance. If you have never had that experience, well, just trust me that floods in your house really suck.

Quick Emergency Replacement

We replaced an older similar model washer that died, and due to age, did not seem worth repairing. This one was delivered lightning quick and does a very acceptable job on the laundry. It can handle our biggest loads of king sized bedding items. The turbo wash function is apparently an acceptable option for my wife who formally used extra rinse as an every load thing. I’ve heard no complaints. I would never again buy a washer with an agitator or that was not equipped with a direct drive motor.

I haven’t worked this to its potential yet, so this isn’t a comprehensive review. My wife totally hates that you can’t select an exact microwave time. It is set in 15 sec increments. It does a righteous grilled cheese sandwich. Crispy on the outside and gooey inside. I have done a couple of steaks and burgers in it. They were ok. There isn’t a medium rare or rare choice, so you have to watch closely. It is also extremely good at warming leftover pizza on the convection oven mode. I am still experimenting and playing and haven’t lost enthusiasm for it yet. My wife however says it was a waste of money.

Best of the two 40” class TVs that fit in my space

I would prefer to be able to go to inputs by the name of the input, ie antenna, rather than the call sign of the TV station that I last watched. “HDMI 1” rather than “direct tv genie”. The sound on this TV is certainly nothing special. The picture is fine. When you go to input on the remote and start pushing arrows to choose an input, you better hurry because it will time out and disappear. Otherwise remote is acceptable. This TV is compact for its picture size and fits in a restrictive installation space that I am stuck with. The young man that approached me to assist with my purchase was helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant.
