A perfect little mouse

I have three of these now. That's how much I like them. They seem to work perfectly almost anywhere. I can even use it on the couch cushion without a noticeable loss of accuracy. The buttons are crisp and the mouse has a good, comfortable feel. If you're wondering, I can use all three mice simultaneously, on different computers, of course, and they don't interfere with each other.

A surpisingly good laptop for the money

I've seen some bad reviews about the sound quality. I'm not having that problem. The sound is no better or worse than the sound from any other laptop with tiny speakers. The speed is somewhat faster than I expected. It's fast enough to run Office Pro 2019 and Microsoft SQL Server without choking, although I don't recommend running SQL Server. It's a bit much for this little laptop. To be fair, it's not advertised as a powerhouse. It's supposed to surf the Net and run MS Office, and it does those things as well as can be expected for a machine in this price range. I'm very happy with my purchase. I didn't give it five stars only because the setup instructions were a waste of paper. Fortunately, they weren't really needed. Just turn it on and Cortana will walk you through setting up Windows 10. I almost forgot - I upgraded to Win 10 Pro without any problems.

Windows 10 Professional is the most reliable operating system that I've owned. I started using W10 after many years of being an XP user so there was a bit of a learning curve. Now that I'm familiar with the W10 way of doing things, I can find what I want almost as quickly as I could in XP. I did have a problem installing it. The system wouldn't recognize the product key when I tried to upgrade from W10 Home to the Pro version. A call to MS tech support solved the problem. One of their support people connected to my PC and remotely fixed whatever was causing it to reject my product key.

I almost passed this up because I’ve never liked refurbished equipment. I’m glad I didn’t. It’s quiet and works perfectly. Windows 10 Professional installed without any problems. It’s not as fast as my more modern 7th generation i3, but I didn’t expect it to be, so that’s not a problem. It has enough horsepower to comfortably run Windows 10 and my programs, and that’s what I wanted. The only thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars is that it arrived with a broken keyboard. It wasn’t a big problem because I intended to use it with a spare keyboard anyway. It just made me uncomfortable to see that busted keyboard and to know that the PC could have taken a hit, too. Fortunately, the PC works fine and doesn’t seem to have been damaged. Better packing would have earned them 5 stars.

I need to create my system image and store it in a safe place after I am done so I would like to know if Win 10 will recognize this as an appropriate destination drive to save my system image on?
Yes. Windows 10 prefers this drive over my DVD burner as a backup destination.

How do tou get the plastic cover off?????
You don't take it off - unless your drive isn't the same as mine. You grasp the cover with one hand and push the body of the drive out of the cover. In other words, the cover slides down the body to expose the connector. When you're finished, just pull on the two pieces and the cover will slide back into place over the connector.
