Not better than Geek Squad in terms of coverage

Only get this if you're getting a TV installed or appliance installed. For big ticket items like TVs, geek squad is much better in terms of coverage. You can tell customer service to replace your TotalTech with Geek Squad on just the TV because it gives better coverage. TotalTech requires you to pay a deductible if repair or replacement is needed... why do you need to pay a deductible???

Best Mini LED TV out there

I bought this TV after returning my LG QNED85. This is a Mini LED TV and the picture quality is amazing! I love the new Google TV layout it is much cleaner than the WebOS LG has. I could be biased but Sony really does beat out LG and Samsung in picture quality. I don't really care about the sound since I have a Soundbar connected. It is a bit pricier than the LG but worth the upgrade in my opinion. Wait for it to come on sale. They always come on sale.

Love the geek squad protection! It offers a full protection package and in my opinion it is better than the TotalTech. If you're buying a big ticket item like a TV or any appliance, ask the customer service to cancel your TotalTech from this item and add the geek squad warranty instead. Your TV installation will still be covered because of your active TotalTech. What I don't like about TotalTech is that you have to pay a deductible on certain things... this is like an insurance now...

It is good but not worth full price

I had purchased this for my living room that is very bright. This is Mini LED technology and I think the picture was really good. However, I did see a lot of blooming around objects on screen with black background. If you are viewing from the front, the picture looks great. The moment you view the TV from side angles, you see a lot of blooming in general. Also I am not a big fan of the WebOS. I think it's too cluttered with a lot going on. I ultimately ended up returning this and bought the Sony X95K Mini LED and I'm really happy with that!
