This is more of the same Gears for better or worse. The visuals are fantastic and the gameplay is what you expect from a Gears game. I don't feel like the open world areas added anything to this game.
The series is starting to feel stale and could use a refresh.
I recommend this if you get it on sale for cheap or play it on Game Pass.
