I’m blown away every time I turn the tv on and I’ve owned an lg oled since 2016. I also review TVs for various websites and magazines and I can honestly tell you for the $ this tv is well worth it. Gaming it has all the features as well as the performance to go along with it. For movies it offers true enthusiast level picture quality that even the average person can fail in with just a bit of research. Also the tv is thin and stylish and the stand is super sturdy and still pleasing to the eye. The thing that surprised me the most is how well it upscales older content. Old westerns from the 60s look incredible and anyone that says Sony has the best image processing in the industry is either biased or paid to say it. I bought this tv with my own money and wasn’t paid to write this the lg c1 is just that good. All content just looks great be it new hdr movies or classic films older than your parents. If your on the fence just buy it because other manufacturers might make oleds that cost more but none make.them better than lg. even though they are expensive they still are some of the best values on the market.

This tv has been such a pleasant surprise. It seems to do everything and most things exceptionally. Contrast is amazing hdr performance is beautiful and black levels are deep and inky. I love hdr content and this tv excels at displaying high quality content. Lower resolution things like dvds or cable still look very nice but obviously the higher quality content you feed it the better it looks. My favorite thing about it is it’s very bright over 1200 nits and black levels are really almost oled like. Local dimming does a solid job of improving contrast and controlling blooming. In the most challenging scenes you will see a bit of blooming at times but nothing distracting. Now let’s talk about gaming yes it does 4k 120 vrr with no issues. I have had it hooked up to my Xbox series x for over a month now with all the features turned on and not had one single issue. The gaming engine features are nice and freesync keeps the action looking smooth and lag free. Pro tip for the most accurate hdr image turn on the game hdr feature turn tone mapping all the way down to zero and then calibrate the hdr settings through ur Xbox and it’s super easy to get a stunning hdr gaming experience. If you like an image with more pop leave the game hdr setting off leave tone mapping at 50 and then calibrate hdr through ur Xbox. Very good tv for gaming! One thing I’ll say about the factory settings is they aren’t that great. Turn off all the power saving settings pump up the backlight and don’t be afraid to turn up the color 7 or so clicks to get those rich qled colors. Just experiment a bit but calibrated or calibrated dark are the best settings. It supports all types of hdr including Dolby Vision and hdr 10 plus as well as Dolby atmos. It’s a feature rich tv that really performs great across the board. To me this tv represents Vizio upping their game with the p series. They are only releasing the Pqx model in 85 inches this year so it feels like they made the base p series better to attract buyers wanting the 65 and 75 in models. Also SmartCast is even better and they finally got HBO max .it’s responsive and works well with the new voice remote. The tv also looks very stylish. It has an almost Bezel less design on three sides and has a new stand that can be raised or lowered to fit any sound bar. I don’t really know much about the tv without a soundbar because I hooked it up first thing and have never used it without but I can say earc work perfectly controlling my high end surround sound system. Overall this is the best Vizio tv I’ve ever seen and I’m very impressed. If you need a affordable yet high performance tv the vizio p series j1 should be on your list!!

size over all, stand size required
I own the 55 inch model and I measured the distance between the feet on the base of the tv and it’s 43 inches apart. There are two options when you are putting the tv together meaning you can turn the feet out for a wider base or turn them in for a smaller one. I have a large area for it so I went with the wider option. I’m guessing but I’d say turning them in would save 6 inches on the base. It’s a great tv if you can find one and I hope this helps
