Is this a race?

Will reconsider appliance purchases from Best Buy with installation. The first installation appointment resulted in the installation of cheaper rubber hoses when we paid for stainless steel hoses. Fortunately they took a pictures and it was evident when we called customer service that they installed the wrong product. Of course customer service is backlogged and it took several calls to them before i even had a chance to request a remedy. It took an hour for them to admit the error and provide a correction. Of course the correction required a 2nd installation appointment. The 2nd installation group installed the proper hoses after not being sure they had them on the the truck. They left them coiled up so we had to unstall them and straighten them out to make sure the water pressure didn't build up. The problem wasn't their professionalism it was the need for them to speed through the installation process. Why do they have to run in and act like the installation is a race? Is there an incentive for them to finish the day early if they finish early? it seems like a waste of resources since I had to waste the time of customer service, waster the time for the 2nd installers and importantly waste my time trying to remedy their installation issues. This is not exclusively a Best Buy problem it is a problem with the delivery industry.

We~ll haul away and recycle one major appliance when we deliver a new replacement product. If you prefer, we can move your old appliance to another location in your home.

This washer is quiet. I do find it difficult to read panel since the screen is not back lit. Extremely efficient. We regularly use the normal cycle and it is between 26-29 minutes in length. Our previous machine (Maytag) was 50 minutes for normal. It may be my imagination but it feels like the drum is lower on the machine which requires more stooping and reaching to get clothes at the back of the machine. I would recommend this machine as it has worked well and is easy to use. Highly recommend waiting for a sale or price checking this one.

We'll deliver, install and make sure your new washing machine is working. We'll level your washer, plug it in and attach the hoses. Additional charges may apply if not up to local codes or requirements.

Didn't install proper accessory

We purchased the stainless steel water lines for our washer and instead they put on cheaper rubber hoses. The process to fix the issue required over an hour on the phone with customer service and then waiting for a 2nd install appointment. During the 2nd install they left the lines wound up so we had to remove them and straighten them out in order to allow free flow of the water. My experience is that installers want to run in and get things installed quickly but without attention to detail. There must be an incentive for them to finish early. This is not exclusive to Best Buy but to many delivery services.
