Go back to the beginning in this reimagined version of Ratchet & Clank for the PlayStation 4. Its deepened origin story is revealed through over an hour of cinematic movie sequences, and the new planets, game play and boss battles keep the experience fresh. Protect the Solana Galaxy again with the robust arsenal of weapons in Ratchet & Clank.

Enroll in a virtual high school when you play Persona 5 for PlayStation 4. Heroes awaken power by freeing themselves of societal masks in this game, which includes plenty of action-packed role-playing and sophisticated cut-scenes. When I first saw this game, I was confused as to how it was getting all these 9 and 10 scores from reviewers online, as the gameplay I had seen was pretty simple and uninteresting. But in the nearly 50 hours I've been playing it (about half way through the game), I can definitely confirm that it is indeed a game that deserves a 93 on Metacritic. It's got possibly the best soundtrack of any game I've played, as well as a great story and fun gameplay. The turn based combat can get a little dry in longer play sessions, but the overall flashiness and colorfulness of it keeps you watching. If anyone's not sure on whether or not to pick it up, I'd say it's definitely worth giving a chance.

DRV3 doesn't quite match the first two games in terms of overall story quality, but the gameplay is a definite step up from the previous games. Combine that with the amazing looking visuals and you get one of the best visual novels I've seen or played. There are all sorts of complaints from people about everything from the characters to the ending, but if you are a fan of the franchise, it's a definite must play. And given that it's currently at $30, there's no better time to grab it than now.

I have a Switch and Pc, so I was hesitant to spend even more money on a PS4 for the exclusives, but I'm so glad I did. This is my first PS4 Pro, and it's great for games like Spiderman, Kingdom Hearts, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Would definitely recommend. I'm not a huge fan of the design of this console, but the red color still looks amazing regardless and the controller looks great too.
