Laptop did it's job. I wanted a laptop where I would only have to charge once a week and use it for just 30 minutes to an hour for work and that's exactly what it did. The lower quality screen compared to newer models didn't matter to me because I didn't watch many videos on it either way.
Finally upgraded to the m1 MacBook Air (wrote a review of that also)
and can comfortably say I was happy with my MacBook Air purchase of 3 years ago.
Magsafe is still awesome, it was still plenty quick, plenty bright, but it was just time for an upgrade.

Lightning fast.
My tv remote was going bad sooooo having this remote control everything is awesome including turning on the tv, sound bar, pause, play, mute.
Switching apps is so quick and so much faster for everything to load and switch compared to roku, built in smart tv and chromecast and fire stick.
Being able to use phone natively for remote is awesome too.
Should be fast for years and years. Will have no need to upgrade since 8k will take for ever to be mainstream since 4k isn’t nein stream yet.
Color calibration worked well and next step is to upgrade to a 4k oled tv.
Having swipe and buttons on remote is nice as well.
