Late in her pregnancy, Ruth (writer/director Alice Lowe) was faced with coming to term alone after her partner died in a climbing accident. The depth of the trauma manifests as she, believing herself spurred by the commands of her unborn daughter, begins to stalk and kill various strangers... but the homicides might not prove as random as they first appear. This film gives a very odd and unique premise but it doesn't fully flesh out to me. It tries to play its story of fetus demanding justice for her fallen father by instructing her mother to kill those responsible. But there is such an unbelievable storyline even within that wild premise that is hard to get past. Its filled with many "now how could she not have gotten caught" points. It has some okay moments here and there but mostly I feel its the weakest of the Shudder releases I've seen

This film is one to think on after viewing. More than just a quick watch and more internal and arthouse than your typical horror film. Following the story of a mother, who has gone missing reappears and her daughter and granddaughter are there to take care of her. But soon find out that something more sinister might be happening

This film had been delayed quite a few times for resorts and then the pandemic hit causing it to suffer a limited theatrical run. But its finally here and I quite enjoyed it. This film follows a group of mutants in an hospital of sorts who all have demons they are hiding, discovering who they are meant to be. But not everything is as it seems. It spins off of the X Men franchise and some what links in with Logan. So if you have not seen that film I suggest watching it as well to see what I mean

The follow up to the brilliant Train to Busan is here and it does not disappoint. This sequel takes a more action oriented route as the story follows an ex military, his brother in law, and a team of mother/daughters and their military captain grandpa in a race against time to finish a mission and escape not only zombies but human threat as well. Terrific acting, amazing stunt work, laughs, and creepy zombies are all here. Its not only a must watch, but a must own!
Gently eccentric patriarch Nathan Gardner (Nicolas Cage) was trying to eke out a simple living for his family on the New England farm he inherited. Their existence would take a terrifying turn after a small meteor crashed onto the property... and it's radiation wreaked bizarre and catastrophic transformations on surrounding plant and animal life alike. Passion project take on the H.P. Lovecraft chiller from director Richard Stanley co-stars Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur, Q'orianka Kilcher, Tommy Chong. 111 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English. Two-disc set.

Crazy alien activity, insane Nic Cage acting, and H.P. Lovecraft? Oh and not to forget alpacas. Get ready for a weird and bizarre feature with this one. Very odd and very off the wall. The colors are gorgeous and truly pop while the story is so odd but keeps you glued to the screen. Nic Cage is Nic Cage as he allows his madness to shine lol

The classic horror adaptation of Stephen King's novel by Stanley Kubrick looks outstanding on 4k. A film with great performances, harrowing chills, and sinister spirits comes to life in glorious picture and sound in this release. If you call yourself a horror or a film fan in general, this title must be in your collection and what better than 4k!?

A field trip to Europe with his classmates was supposed to provide Peter Parker (Tom Holland) with a well-earned respite from his superhero alter-ego of Spider-Man. But when he's recruited by superspy Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Spidey is soon back on the job and teaming up with the InchMysterioInch-us Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal)-apparently a hero from an alternate universe-for a dangerous mission that may not be what it appears. Seeing Peter heal from the events of Avengers Endgame, we see him further grow into the web slinger he was meant to be. Terrific action, laughs, and great acting. This followup to Homecoming is the Spider-man film we've been waiting for!

I enjoy the Critters series but this one is a miss for me. Far too campy, and I love camp but this was way too much. I couldn't get into the characters who were extremely poorly developed and played out
