This steelbook arrived without any dings or dents, which is awesome because it is a very nice looking front and back. Sometimes steelbooks don't look that cool with the image they choose, but this is a nice cover and back.

The movie is great if you have not seen it. I still think Mission Impossible 1 is the best film, even with the newest MI film out (fallout I think is the most current).
The 1-star is for the dents that were in the back of the steelbook, completely devaluing it.
Best Buy's answer was for me to ship it back, and have a replacement sent or refunded. Neither is a good option. Shipping the product back alone would equal the cost of the steelbook ($9.99).
I was not happy with either of those solutions and simply kept it.

I have watched this movie several times now, and it is fantastic. A mind-bending experience that I somewhat understand from my philosophy BA, but I am mostly lost in the cinematic wonder and philosophical ideas being posed.
I don't need to understand everything to enjoy this film. Everything is superb from top to bottom. A well-done film.

I got tired of using my apartment's inefficient oven and wanted something smaller for one person.
I still need a bigger oven sometimes, but it is nice to have a small efficient multi-purpose oven that heats up quick, and heats the food thoroughly.
I have used the oven, conventional oven, and air-fry functions. The air fry is great for tater tots or chicken nuggets or egg rolls etc.
I also have to web search temperature and cook-times for the air-fry function because many items do not list it, and the unit does not list it either.
I'm still not sure how or when to use the conventional oven, but it seems like a great function to have once I become a better baker.
The oven heats up quick and does not require a pre-heat, but if you want to pre-heat, you can set the timer for 10-minutes more than your cook time, then put your food in when the timer gets down to your cook time. The timer stops and the cooking stops when you open the door.
The only negative so far is that there is no timer sound to let you know that your food is done or that your timer has reached the cook-time (if you were trying to do a pre-heat of sorts).
No timer-sound is a small thing, but makes a big difference for people who cannot sit and stare at the timer or set an additional timer to remind themselves of the toaster-oven's timer.
It does get hot when in use but does not heat up an apartment or space the way a full-size oven does. It is good to use on hot days when the full-size oven would make your apartment roasting.

The steelbook looks great. The package arrived without any dents or issues. It also came with a digital copy for Ghostbusters II. I am glad I purchased this at the affordable price.

Best Buy ships in a few different package-types. They use the flimsy bubble envelope, and they use the rigid vacuum-sealed cardboard container.
When Best Buy uses the flimsy bubble envelope, my steelbooks arrive damaged almost every time.
When Best Buy uses the rigid vacuum-sealed cardboard container, my steelbooks arrive in great condition (usually).
This steelbook arrived in perfect condition. It also came with a digital copy.
If you have not seen the original Predator, then there is not much to say.
It is one of those movies you should watch because it is a classic. Maybe you will love it. Maybe you will hate it. But it is the original Predator, and you should probably watch it.

Wonder Woman 1984: Patty Jenkins sets a new standard for superhero films
Patty Jenkins has created a timely masterpiece that was timeless in its message, a message that was more important to the future of democracies now than ever. It would have been easy for the writers and Patty Jenkins to follow the traditional sequel path where bigger was always better. But films like The Dark Knight Rises and Spiderman 3, in pursuit of the bigger-and-better ending, fell short of the hero/villain showdown (Batman was saved from Bane by Catwoman, and Spiderman was saved by Harry); the films had lost what made the first battle between Batman and Bane, and Spiderman and The Green Goblin, so compelling. Bigger was not always better, and bigger had become a worn-out mess in many sequels.
The film under the direction of Patty Jenkins (also a writer for the project) skillfully navigated a bigger enemy than some mad and power-hungry business person, or a super-cosmic villain that was out to rule the earth, or a bitter and resentful individual who sought revenge on nameless people as a way to free their own cathartic experience; in any case, each of those villain prototypes have had plenty of time on the silver screen. Pedro Pascal played the mad business man, and Kristen Wiig played the nobody who was tired of being pushed around and sought revenge on nameless individuals who "deserved it" in her eyes. The ability of both actors to tone down their finely-tuned craft was a tribute to their own talents and to the talent of Patty Jenkins' directing. It was the combination of those two factors that created the opening for the subtle, yet deeply powerful and moving message, the space that allowed Wonder Woman to face the ultimate villain.
The first relationship dynamic that revealed the main theme of the movie was when Diana (Gal Gadot) told Steve Trevor (Chris Pine (who carried his weight in humor)) the story of Asteria; she was a leader with almost-invincible armor, which she used to fight off advancing armies, allowing the entire race of Amazons to escape. The name "Asteria" was of Greek origin and meant "star," it came from the Greek word Astraea or Astraia, but Asteria was an Anglicized spelling, the name meant goddess of justice and innocence (Nameberry.com). The armor of Asteria physically embodied all those non-physical properties (angelhood (star-like), innocence, justice). The point of Diana's story was that Asteria sacrificed herself for the survival of her people.
The second scene where the theme made itself known was when Diana sacrificed her own love for Steve Trevor to fight the two villains, who grew stronger as they nurtured the apocalypse. Without Diana wishing for Steve Trevor to return (earlier in the film), she never would have been able to experience the pain of loving and losing, a critical character arc for a goddess who must ask all of humanity to sacrifice. A task she had to do, a task she had to convince others to do. It was after that scene where Diana regained her full powers—learning new previously unknown powers, learning to fly.
It was rare to see an action/superhero film with such steady camera work. At times, it was easy to forget that it was an action/superhero film. The cinematography felt like the camera work in a Cameron Crowe or Sofia Coppola film (with long Orson-Welles-style takes), it was mesmerizing, like the experience of watching Apocalypse Now (directed by Francis Ford Coppola) for the first time, like watching Tim Burton's Batman for the first time. There were several scenes that caused chills, the combination of the cinematography and sets, was like dining with the gods and goddesses for a night. That was what the flying scenes elicited during Diana's resurgence: strength, sacrifice, picking yourself back up, being ready to sacrifice for future challenges. It was awe-inspiring camera work and directing.
It was in the final battle scene where the many mini-lions of plot development combined to make one-giant-nearly-unmissable lion of meaning. Diana was victorious over Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) and battled Max Lord (Pedro Pascal), but it was not a battle to the death—it was not a "bigger-and-better" ending. The painstaking work of Patty Jenkins, the individual actors (Gal Gadot captured blockbuster action with humor and throat-hurting sadness), cinematographer, editors, set-designers, music score, and writers came to a confluence in the final scene. The villain of the film was the selfishness of humanity, particularly the selfishness of humans in democracies. Wonder Woman 1984 revealed that even goddesses had experiences of love and loss, that even goddesses cannot save humanity from itself. Sacrifice was the ultimate hero; selfishness was the ultimate villain. WW1984 was a film about the virtue of sacrifice. A message that many humans would benefit from taking to heart, a message that hopefully comes in many more Wonder Woman films helmed by the steady hand of Patty Jenkins—and hopefully Wonder Woman will return soon.

I owned a VIZIO 1080P Smart TV that required zero maintenance in 6 1/2 years. I have had a Sharp 4K Smart TV for two years that has worked perfectly. Both VIZIO and Sharp are user friendly.
Samsung is high maintenance. That has been my experience after owning it for two months. It looks like a great TV. But something has been wrong with my contrast and colors. I had best buy come out and diagnosis. Then they put in a new part. While also telling me that the real problem was something called "calibration." Calibration is fine tuning. This was a major color and contrast issue. It felt like bad-form on the geek squads part by trying to get me to sign-up for a $250 calibration service. Bad-form geek squad. Fix the issue. Don't sell me something I don't need. My Sharp out of the box is better than my Samsung out of the box. Samsung should be better out of the box. If you want to calibrate it to take it to the next level, then that's a different conversation.
Now that best buy has replaced the part, the TV is still not working. I have to have Samsung techs come out because if you have geek squad work on your Samsung TV, the two entities are not going to communicate to each other. Obviously. So I wasted an entire month by using best buy geek squad. I also bought a 5-year geek squad plan. It feels like more wasted money now.
Anyways, I'm not a Samsung person. But if you are, have Samsung fix your TV under the 1-year warranty plan. Also, ask about calibration when purchasing TVs. Whatever that is.
A very disappointing consumer experience.

Samsung, don't treat me like I'm an idiot

Hello Samsung,
Thanks for the heads up about updating my firmware. I'm from the stone-age. I wasn't aware of updates. You make a bad TV and sell it as a high end quality picture. I'm well aware of how to adjust a picture using the brightness and contrast controls. Thanks for telling me something I learned in the 90s. I used a tune-up app. During the picture adjustment, the brightness does not show the THX symbol at all. The display or screen or TV is bad. Don't insult me with your response like I don't know what I'm doing. Make a decent TV.

What I saw in the promo and have seen in the store is called raw 4K or raw HD. It is compressed through the apps I guess or cable lines. Whatever. The problem with my TV was that there was no contrast. I really don't know what fixed it but I'm getting the kind of picture quality I expected for 4K movies. I can see some detail in dark areas but it is obviously not an OLED or QLED picture. I wasn't expecting that. I was expecting a pretty good picture that would keep me entertained while staying home.
Best Buy came out twice. They replaced the mainboard and that didn't fix it. I did factory resets and picture resets and smart hub resets. That didn't fix it. I had Samsung's techs come out once. They did nothing but also nothing changed. I asked for a more advanced tech. I did a Smart Hub reset the night before Samsung's tech was coming out for a second time. It fixed the 4K pictures that were too dark to watch like any DC Batman or even The Amazing-Spiderman or Men in Black. I don't know if it was that last Smart Hub reset or an auto-update of firmware. But the picture is what I expected, and if it looked like this from the beginning, I never would have made a fuss.
Knowing what I know now, I would recommend a person pay the extra bit of money and get a Samsung 8 Series (whatever the newest 8 series is). The 8 Series is supposed to be excellent for 4K movies.
