The Freshman season of Picard...
I enjoyed it. I don't want to spoil anything, I'll just say I'm curious to see where they go from here.
Most shows take a season or two to get established. (There were some not so great episodes of TNG in those first couple of seasons...) Of course, Picard has history in TNG show and movies, but this is new territory. I'm curious about learning more of what has happened since we saw the crew in Nemesis. Hope we see more characters from TNG, DS9 and Voyager...
The steelbook is a cool package...

This series' 4 seasons originally aired on Starz and was produced by Sam Rami, Robert Tapert and some others.
The first season featured Andy Whitfield as the title character. Andy did a great job with the role.
Andy got sick and they halted production on a second season so he could get treated.
They produced a prequel season while Andy was being treated.
Unfortunately Andy didn't get better...
They recast the roll and Liam McIntyre took over the title roll for the final two seasons.
Liam also did a great job with the role.
The show is about gladiators rebelling against the Roman Empire... It should be no surprise is violent.
What makes the show great is the characters. You care what happens to them. You cheer when they win and you feel it when they don't...

This is a really rare case of a second sequel being just as good as the previous two films.
Just like the first two movies, this one does a great job of again expanding the original story, adding characters and settings and is just as well written, animated and acted as the first two films.
