I am giving this a 3 star review, the unit works alright, no complaints, I was surprised to see the nonstick coating chipping off within the first week and a half of use. This coating can get into the rice and enter the digestive system where it lodges itself in the walls of the stomach, and it can cause cancer. I understand that I get what I pay for,

I had a 3.2 liter fryer, but wanted to upsize because there was not enough room. I purchased this on sale as it looks like best buy was trying to clear these out. Got it at a reasonable price point. I had a small issue with the fryer smelling like burning plastic after the first couple of uses, I did look before the first use to make sure no packaging was on the burner and no debris had found it's way onto the burner. My food tasted like the smell, after the first 2 uses, after that it was fine, so there is a break in period. I also noticed that due to the increased size the cook time also increased. Other than that I love the interface, all the space and ease of use. Best buy was good enough to price match after the item went on deal of the day for an additional 10$ off. I was very happy about that.

I have 2 complaints, I wish the remote was not so programmable to the point it reprograms itself in my pocket at work. Every now and then I have to pull out the manual to try to undo what was accidentally done. Best Buy did the install, and the techs are very helpful and knowledgeable. I also don't like the delay between when the remote button is pushed to the vehicle responding. Those are small issues, and I have high expectations sometimes.
