While the film is/was an 80's vampire classic, it still is enjoyable to watch present day. This Blu Ray version is an improvement over the up-converted DVD release. Though some close-ups looked smeary or painted with no pores or lines on faces. Black levels are very good and audio is better than it had ever sounded on any previous release of the film which includes a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround presentation.
Extras are carried over from the DVD but unfortunately are not in HD.
For fans of the film, this present Blu Ray is the way to go

Brad Dourif is my favorite villain voice actor and I love the Childs Play series. Having said that the third movie is not my favorite in the bunch. The military school doesn't give me the same sense of dread as in the original two movies taking place in the home and toy factory. I enjoy the setting in the end of this movie with the haunted ride on the carnival, but it does not have the same impact as one and two did for me.

In this sequel poor Andy is still taunted by Chucky but he finds an ally in Kyle. Together they are able to fight back against Chucky and prevail. This sequel still maintained some of the suspense the original movie did but seemed to have more scenes with Chucky in it. I especially liked the parts when he kept getting interrupted when he was trying to do his voodoo spell on Andy. I felt sorry for Andy though because he is still a small boy and his mom was put under psychiatric care because she also believed Chucky is alive. Great acting by Kyle.
