John McTiernan directs Sean Connery in the eco-friendly adventure film The Medicine Man, which comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed-captions on this release. Supplemental materials include a making-of featurette and the theatrical trailer. This is a decent release from Disney/Buena Vista that will please Connery fans and genre enthusiasts.

this wasn't what you would call an action packed movie but a more mentally challenging movie. Not enough attention has been put on the wars during our time and this movies shows the reason why we need too! this movie has a very surprising ending that makes it worth the wait!

If this is going to be a surprise gift then I suggest you charge them up before giving them away. It takes a while to get fully charged and kids get impatient. There was also an issue that might kids didn't realize that you need to cut off the parts of the charging station while using the ones you need or it will cause them not to work. other than that my kids were very excited when they got this for Christmas!
