Daughter needed a laptop for college and the M4 was the "Best Buy" ;D Her brother secured an M3 last yr in Midnight. Screen is 13" which is the same size as the chromebook kids use in HS. Daughter selected Starlight and loves the color so much she selected a clear case to cover it. Bought matching keyboard cover in Starlight. Easy for iPhone users to get accustomed to and very light to carry. Slim and compact. Even fits in a medium sized purse! Carries it in a medium sized messenger bag. Comes with power brick and USBC cord (both ends). Camera has a privacy slide. Uses it for school, watching movies, syncing with her iPhone, talking and msging her friends. Got her a Magic Mouse but she hasn't used that yet as she prefers the track pad (go figure). Speed is very good so long as the wifi is good. Cons: Only has a usbc port so need an adapter to use HDMI or USB; not a touch screen; no disc drive.

Am new to Apple laptops. Take a lot of photos with my iPhone is there an advantage to having an apple laptop top to be able to not only store but also, clean these photos up before up loading them to Shutterfly?current leveno slow how does apple compare?
Your Mac should sync w/your iPhone. I find it easier to edit photos on my iPhone and then upload to my Shutterfly acct - all via mobile. Try to avoid syncing photos or videos to your Mac as you want to keep the speed fast and the more you use the memory up, the slower it will be so just use your Mac for what you really need it for; otherwise you;ll have the same problem as you do with the Lenovo. Unless of course you can afford to buy cloud storage and save everything there but that is a monthly fee.
