initially I bought sony x800m2 on amazon on black friday thinking it would be fine without DV auto detection / little better video quality / HDR optimizer. however, I couldn't stand more than 3 days. I paid $200 for sony and $350 for this unit so consider price factor.

It was not annoying. however later really get confused if which movies have DV or HDR10.. especially I have many steelbook...there are not infos on the back of steelbook(there is art) or disc. I was not sure if I can manage for next several yrs..

I didnt check but all 3 movies are fixed at 24p. so if you expect these movies to be at higher like movie theater, good to consider..

I believe this was not "original film" scanned in 4k considering the fact that there are some softness here n there. however color grading/ overall sharpness are fun to watch these movies again in 4k.
