This is a nice Tim Burton film, and the film making style shows! I actually watched the movie first before reading the book, so as a movie, I enjoyed it, especially in 3D! Afterwards, I read the book (with the creepy looking cover!) and found out Emma and Olive's peculiarities have switched! There's a lot of other things that are different, but I guess the decision to tell the story is up to Tim Burton and his screenwriters!
The 3D is good, but not necessary for this movie. It's a gimmick to show off some of the visual effects. Of course, you have the choice of watching the 2D version as well (which is why I like having both the 3D and 2D in the same box, and there's not much difference in the price).
Hollow City, the sequel to the book, will most likely not happen. This movie didn't make much at the box office in the U.S., but was doing pretty well overseas.
The chronicles of James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as he rises in the ranks of the Gotham City Police Department and develops a unique alliance with playboy philanthropist Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), slowly becoming aware of Wayne's secret life as the masked vigilante Batman. All 22 episodes in one Blu-ray collection.

Let's see...this season, we had a new Poison Ivy (and then she changed next season), Gotham City had to deal with The Mad Hatter, Ed Nygma becomes The Riddler, and Bruce Wayne is starting to become more and more like Batman. Better than the previous two seasons. As usual, the video and sound are very good!
