I suppose that if you’ve played one Mario kart, then you’ve just as well played them all. Not entirely the case here with this game. Yes: it’s a re-release from the Wii U version, yeah: it’s another Mario kart game and yes: it reminded me of the 3ds game from years and years ago. But this one is just fun. It’s not a bad game and it’s a breath of fresh air for anyone that just wants a fun race and nothing cynical or ‘too’ deep or whatever. It’s fun, it has call backs to other entries from the series and it’s very pretty. Add it to your collection if you’re into that sort of thing

Sonic is still the blue blur but I guess the developers wanted to add a story to something as simple as sonic. The story was a decent attempt but not great. Each stage was about as fun as a mobile game (app) level. Too much to do and not enough incentive to do a lot it. Decent voice acting and somewhat fun gameplay. Maybe I’m complaining because I’m not the biggest Sonic’s fan and only play the OG sonic stuff and sonic heroes. But it just wasn’t today impressive
