A fantastic movie with a fantastic 4K transfer. Well worth experiencing the thunder that is Joker in UHD. Thomas Wayne is portrayed poorly, as is Alfred, but that's not the point of this film.

Good transfer of a great movie, odd fire effects.

The film is fantastic, but the fire effects in HDR look a bit weird, while they blend into the movie much better in the regular Blu-ray. Overall, the transfer is great, and you can't even tell that the film transitions from 2K scanned 35mm to 4K scanned 70mm. Something else to note, this version of the film only features the Ultimate Edition on 4K, and the Theatrical Cut on Blu-ray. If you're hoping for a regular Blu-ray copy, you'll have to get the DVD/BD combo-pack.

Great color and sharpness despite being a 2K upscale, first off. Second, comes in a terrible Warner Bros eco-case.
Third, the film itself would be an all-time great if it wasn't for the climax, which was allegedly all reshoots. The climax contradicts the overall message of the film.

Alright movie, bad transfer.

Despite being around three hours long, Disney has crammed this movie onto a BD-66 instead of opting to use a BD-100 for this climax of the MCU. Though they also opted to use a BD-66 for Infinity War, which also didn't make any sense. This film is also an upscale from a 2K master, and it looks perfectly adequate, but the film was also shot above 4K, and doesn't include a full-frame version of the film, much like Infinity War didn't. It's an alright way to watch the film, but it's nothing special. And the film itself is pretty cool, but it's not that great, plot-wise.

The Ultimate Cut of Watchmen feels like you're seeing the comic on the big-screen with some improvements. Despite being an upscale from a 2K master, it's still very sharp, and the HDR is a noted improvement on The Ultimate Cut's DVD and Blu-ray versions.

Mediocre movie, shipping took too long.

Despite pre-ordering the day pre-orders went up, and despite having release-day or earlier shipping for pre-ordering, my copy wasn't even shipped until days after release, and didn't arrive until days after that. This is despite my local store having it, but I couldn't pick it up, because of the ongoing lockdown. The movie's not bad, but it's not great. Mediocre at absolute best, but definitely below-average. Better than TLJ, not as good as the first six movies.
