Promising Steel Book Movie

Purchased the 4K version that came with a blu-ray and a digital copy in a steel case. The case is awesome but the condition it arrived in is sad. The steel case does not close properly and the blu-ray has pinholes on the reflective surface (possible disc rot). Don’t know why this is but not worth the money if it’s already deteriorating. As far as the movies goes, it is one of Mel Gibson’s best movies. Well try to return it but don’t want to wait in line during COVID times.

Great device that works better than the apps on my Sony TV. Works on both 1080p and UHD TVs. Only draw back is that the majority of the good apps are by paid subscription only. Another drawback is that it has very little memory, but I have about twenty apps on it and it works fine. It’s great to have all my apps all in one place.

Thunder Cat Best Of The 80’s

Great to have the entire Thunder Cats series in one collection. Surprisingly the video and mono sound are great. The story lines are great and have aged better than other cartoons of the 80’s. One disk arrived scratched and off the disk holder, hope it still work since Best Buy’s return policy is a hassle.

Great UHD transfer and excellent blu-ray. Warner Bros again does a good job with it ‘s transfers and audio. This is Jack Nicholson at his best. The movie stays true to Steven King’s novel by the same name. See before Doctor Sleep. Got it for under $10, what a great deal.

Gal Gadot, Best Wonder Woman!

Overall this steel book is worth every dime. The UHD disc is a good upgrade to the Blu-ray Disc which is also included. As for the movie, Gal Gadot does an excellent job as Wonder Woman and the store line is well written and stays true to her origin store in the DC Comics.
Maybe cause I’m a different generation but I think Gal Gadot’s version is truer to the comics books then Linda Carter’s version. That being said, I think Linda Cater deserves a lot of credit for being the first Wonder Woman. On a side note, Gal Gadot was awesome in WW84 and cannot wait for Wonder Woman 3.

Great 80’s movie. The picture looks great and the sound is just about the same as that of a blu-ray. Would have loved for the audio to be Dolby Atmos but have to settle for Dolby Audio or DTS HD. As for the movie, just loved it and will watch during Christmas being that it is kind of a holiday movie. Steel case is a plus, just loved it.
