This item works OK for one thing recipes and also tells you the weather it does not make duo calls it barely searches the Internet and most of the time and tells you can't find what you're looking for all in all it's not the best product out there Google has a lot of Room for a improvement. Seems to me like they just threw something together and threw it out there.

Not only did this product not live up to my expectations it was a horrible product did not work correctly 90% of the time and Google even kept $5 of the return money when I returned it as a fee. I got it for Christmas present along with the hub with the screen and the help with the screen is OK but also does not have a camera so all in all I still believe Alexa leads the way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does Google Hub allow room to room video intercom communication and can can people call from their iphones and can those with the google hub chat on video with the iphone user that calls?
No there is no camera in the Google hub. U can make regular phone calls but a restricted number shows when u call. Thata it, also no intercom. Its not what u would expect from Google but these are the facts. Sorry to disappoint but at least u found out before u bought it. Oh And if you do buy it and decide to return it they keep 5 to $10 for themselves Google does as a fee. I'm going back to Alexa Google has a long way to go
