I wanted to upgrade my Wi-Fi in my home and had Best Buy Geek Squad come out and determine what would be the best way for me to cover ~4500 sq ft home and 24 ft pool barn and the recommended the Eero AC Triband Mesh Wi-Fi Router. So as part of a whole home Wi-Fi upgrade we installed 3 in my home and one in my pole barn and I get the max. number of bars on all of my devices. I purchased 3 of these switches to replace my 4 way switches in my basement utility room. These switches along with a Ring camera in the same area allow me to monitor this space from anywhere. I really like the way this works although the wiring and setup were a challenge, however the tech support at GE were very helpful to first determine which switches I needed, what lamps to use, and how to wire the switches and setup the app to run everything,

With this package, is there any reason to have a Basic Subscription plan? I know with a Premium (or whatever it's called) package, you get the 24/7 monitoring, but what are the benefits of this bundle with a Basic plan?
To be honest, I don't know what the Basic Subscription Plan is, however with the Premium plan it covers not only 24/7 on monitoring your security system, but it also covers as many Ring Security cameras that you might have up to, I believe, 6 months of keeping your video information on their Cloud. I hope that this is correct and that it helps you make a decision.

I currently have a Dual-Band 550mbps EERO mesh (4 units). If I replaced just the hub unit with 1 Tri-Band would it ramp up the speed of the remaining 3 dual-band units? With better range at the hub maybe I won't even need as many units overall?

Does C by GE -C-Start Wi-Fi Smart Dimmer Switch have dimmer memory so that the light comes on at the same level as when it was turned off? Or does it come on FULL BRIGHT? I normally run lights @ 75% don't like being hit with 100% every time turned on.
No when the lights are turned off, then on again the default setting is to 100% light.

I have a 4 gang rocker switch faceplate. Can I use any 4 gang decorative faceplate with C by GE or does GE sell them?
You can use a decorative faceplate, but you may have to modify the switch a bit.

I currently have a Honeywell thermostat with a five wire system....red, yellow, blue, white and green are all in use on current system. Is this compatible with the new thermostat.

Does the camera works 24/7 or just when it detect the motion?
This is my understanding of how this works. The camera can be set to take optional snapshots from every 30 seconds to every 3 minutes and you can also set the parameters for how sensitive it is in capturing video. Keep in mind you also need to have the optional Protect Subscription in order to retrieve the information as the application on your phone has limited storage ability.
