More storage, decent game, poor NIC and drive

More storage is always a plus and the Spider Man game is a welcome addition but the pros stop there when comparing this to the launch version.. Network Card is crap compared to the launch version and drive transfer speeds are worse (my WD external read/write speeds are faster). Sony had to cut corners somewhere to slim it down and it shows. You're better off picking up a launch version or pre-slim version if you're looking for the base model, otherwise spend the extra dough on a pro or hold your cash for the ps5.

It fits comfortably in my ear, which is a plus for me, until I try to pull it out, which feels like a near lobotomy due to the suction it creates.. Piece of advice, remove slowly.. Overall quality of audio on both ends (music, calls) is trash. People also have a hard time hearing me on calls even with the mic close to my mouth. You get what you pay for clearly so at $15 I wasn't expecting Bose anyway.

Good value for the price but pretty much the same as the regular model. Price point seems to be more for just the gimmicky "limited edition" badge. However, buttons are crap on this edition as opposed to the standard gold headset. Ear foam seems to be about the same as well, unfortunately and (may just be an issue with mine) but audio will occasionally go silent in one cup, after turning your controller back on if your controller turns off when connected to a ps4 controller via aux cable. Other than that, one good thing I've noticed is this model doesnt seem to suffer from the insane audio pitch fluctuation, when gaming online during conversation as the standard gold model did. Used to think it was just related to audio distortion from network connectivity/latency until it started happening offline and with my friends gold headsets as well. So that is definitely a plus that I haven't seen it with this pair.

Epic game. Lightyears beyond the usual fodder Rockstar is known for (yeah GTA.. I'm looking at you..). This was truly one of Rockstars' pinnacle entries in their catalog and a good debut of what they can produce, when they stop screwing around. Midrange level in storage. Compact in size, easily portable, although I wouldn't suggest treating these like your wallet :) Speed is decent for a 3.0. Still a bit high for 3 tb's though. These really should be going for $80 at this point.. Especially, with the RMA lottery these days. I've owned enough Seagate and WD externals to know you have a 60-65% chance of getting one, not DOA. Plus, factoring in the $20-30 shipping charge (always get signature on delivery, insurance), and the value of the reconditioned replacement, price should be a little lower. WD's fail rates are not too far behind Seagates at this point. But a lot of different factors (shipping/handling/QA) can affect those numbers. At least WD's turnaround time is far superior on RMA's. Currently waiting on an RMA as we speak, died in less than 1 hour of use and 100 gb's of data written.. But when you get one that works, it works. Piece of advice, register your device once you buy it (necessary for RMA's). Also, External drives will always have a shorter lifespan than Internals, even though all platters are susceptible to shock. If you own a Mobile Phone, you know exactly where I'm going with this lol.. So adjust expectations accordingly and handle with care. Keep those 2 things in mind to get the most from your drives and your money and you'll be fine.
