So right off the back no built in speakers like many other monitors have but you can buy some unless gaming which case don't matter, its great to game but some times I will notice that one part of the monitor will lightly dim when starting up makes me feel like the monitor is two merge into the one.

I have accidental protection, my Lenovo Yoga 730-15 I7 256Gb SSD with 8Gb Ram laptop is three years old and Lenovo discontinued it. If my battery goes bad or if I spill or drop it and it breaks. What would happen if I couldn't get a direct replacement?
They pretty much give you dollar value of the equipment or replacement is as close to item as possible at times depending on what it is. (In my case my monitor alien ware curve went out and they couldn't replace it so they just gave me what I paid for store credit, do remember that amount is the item not the item +plus what you paid for coverage)
I would suggest you talk to the store since they will try to repair and if not then it goes to that other point(unless its one of those items that is cheaper to just replace then fix for them)
