I watched this before watching Pink Floyd The Wall, and I have to give the edge to the latter. I'm not the biggest fan of The Who, but a lot of this just pales in comparison to other musicals out there. A classic for sure, but not one I'm rushing back to watch anytime soon.
This release features both movies in the popular Anchorman series: Anchorman - Marking the directorial debut of Adam McKay, former head writer for Saturday Night Live and founder of the Upright Citizen's Brigade, Anchorman is set during the 1970s and stars Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy, San Diego's top-rated news anchorman. While Burgundy is outwardly willing to adjust to the idea of females in the workplace -- even outside of secretarial positions -- he certainly doesn't want his own job challenged. Keeping that in mind, it's no wonder that the arrival of Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), an aspiring newswoman, is, in Ron's eyes, not the studio's most welcome addition. After Veronica pays her dues covering so-called female-oriented fluff pieces (think cat fashion shows and cooking segments), the ambitious Veronica sets her eyes on the news desk; more specifically, on Ron's seat behind it. Not unpredictably, Ron doesn't take the threat lightly, and it isn't long before the rival newscasters are engaged in a very personal battle of the sexes. Anchorman was co-written by Ferrell, and features supporting performances from David Koechner, Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd, Tara Subkoff, and Maya Rudolph. Anchorman 2 - Will Ferrell returns to the role of Ron Burgundy in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, which finds the popular San Diego television newsman pulling up stakes with co-host Veronica (Christina Applegate), his intrepid reporter Brian (Paul Rudd), overenthusiastic sports reporter Champ (David Koechner), and imbecilic weatherman Brick (Steve Carell) in order to move to New York City and launch the first ever 24-hour news network. Adam McKay, who directed the original, returns as well to helm this comedy.

The steelbook case is great but this isn't from the newer 4K restoration recently released, but an older HD master that still suffers from grain and grime. Still, as a steelbook collector I had to have this.

I got this steelbook in hopes that I might have been wrong about how i felt about the other Bayformers movies after revisiting Age of Extinction, yet this still ended up being one of the most excruciating experiences of them all. I even love The Last Knight for all its campy fun, but this is just unbearable.

"Call it." I'll never be able to get Javier Bardem's creepy persona out of my head again for as long as I live. This was a brilliant turn in tone and style for the Coen Brothers, and one of their greatest feats to date.

John Wick and its sequel should go down in history as two modern action classics. Its seamless and breathtaking action sequences are almost unparalleled, and they do a fantastic job at building up their mystifying world. If only they weren't going to ruin it by explaining everything with a prequel tv series.

I still prefer the first film since it became a staple of my teen years, but 10 Cloverfield Lane was a surprisingly strong sequel that served as a worthy branch out into this extended universe full of endless possibilities. The next one, however, we'll never speak of again...

Many claim that this prequel is unnecessary or that it "ruined the canon," but I like to think of it as a spin-off story that isn't canon at all. Sure, it doesn't make sense when bridged into Episode IV at the end, but at least there's a plethora of characters you feel and care for. I commend Gareth Edwards for his excellent job.
